 Topic: underground water sump
dear sir,

we are constructing a house, my builder has constructed sump using cement blocks, photograph attached. He says there absolutely there would be no issues at all. But then,  few people have stated that blocks are not at all advisable to construct, due to leakage problems. Now am very much worried. Kindly let me know is it really not advisable??? 

I would be very happy to take your advice.
