Which color tiles r preferred for the balcony..light colors or dark colors...??
Is it alright if the room tiles r light and the balcony tiles r dark when both balcony n room r on the same level without any step ..i.e the tiles all of a sudden turn dark when balcony section appears???
If light colors r selected will it be a maintenace problem in places of heavy rains...??

Your consept for light colour tiles in room and dark colour in balcony is good for maintenace. you should fix light colour on the door cill and dark out side in balcony so that there is no feeling in the room when door is open.
