 Topic: Cement selection

Hi All,

I need to know which type of cement (OPC or PPC) and of which grade is best suitable for a construction of 2 floor house. The house construction includes Pillars, Beams, RCC, Brick and Flooring work.

Dear Amzad

For engineering purposes, there are many types of cement but in general, ‘Ordinary Portland Cement’ (OPC) which is available in three grades should be used for house construction. These are 33 grade, 43 grade and 53 grade In which 43 grade is best cement for house construction. See the link below
