Iam starting house construction confused about which cement to use
PPC (ACC or other brands) or OPC 43/53 Brila Super/Ultratech
kindly guide me...

Join date: May 2014		Brand doesn't matter, go as per the grade only.

Join date: Apr 2013		Hi Ashuu: For house construction, go for PPC 43 grade cement. Absolutely no need for 53 grade. PPC cement, containing fly-ash, gives you more time to work with wet cement as it has a longer setting time and gives more compressive strength with the passage of time when compared to a OPC cement. Brand is as per your budget, availability and choice.
