Which would be a better options for apartments (medium and high rise) Concrete Tanks or Sintex Water tanks

Hi ,

I have booked a flat in a  medium rise G+4 floor apartment.The project houses two blocks of apartments of  120 and 100 apartments each.

He has completed the construction of one of the blocks. The design engineer is telling that they would provide Sintex(Plastic/ pvc) water tanks for water storage. Some buyers insist on concrete tank while others feel that Sintex tanks are better hygenic and better maintenance wise.

Can any one please tip on the same as which would be a better choice in the longer run?

Dear savietha

                  The drawback in sintex tank is that the water become hot or cold quickly with the change of the temperature.
