 Topic: CONCRETE MIX
I have agreed with my buildjng contractor M15 Cincrete 1:2:4 for my home construction ground +1..total 2500 Sq ft...
now actually at site.. contractor goes this concrete ratio of 1:2.5:3 against agreed 1:2:4...he explains there is a practicality problem to get the proper mix to use.. Though as per my understanding over all actual volume ratio comes lower 6.5 against agreed 7..it looks better...however i would like to have your expertise opinion on this..should i agree this ...please share your opinion...

       The course sand quantity should be 50% of the bazri or stone chips for standard mix. The contractor increases the sand ratio for easy work to finish and might be sand cost may be less than bazri. The strength of 1;2.5;3 is less as compare to m15 or 1;2;4.
