Hi,

I am constructing 30*40 house. There are 12 columns designed.
Each 9'*12' sie. Ground floor 6 Nos of 16 mm rods. 1st and 2nd 6 rods - 12mm each.

Total GF + FF + SF.

I am using red clay bricks with external 9 in and internal 4 in walls.
Can you please suggest on the structural design and how I can plan for watrertank? Can I raise another 5 feet for watertank and place in southwest corner?

Or directly on 2nd floor slab should be done, with small tank on an iron stand for slar water heater.

I have attached design details. Please advice on the overall structure planing and also on the water tank.

     You should follow the design drawing and if any doubts consult the architect or design engineer.

Infact my engineer says the plan is strong enough and need not worry... :-)
As I am getting construction on my own just getting too many doubts.
And I need an expert advice from you also on the same.

Currently all 3 floors moulds done. GF and FF BRICK work done. Second Floor brick work going on.

Please find attached my floor plan and reinforcement plans.

Please advice.
