Topic: Curing for Brick Walls before and after Plastering

Hi,

Am seeing so many people that they are trying to do curing as much as possible. Am just curious to know about effectiveness of curing. Once Brick work is completed, let me know how many days we need to do curing with water and as well as once Plastering is done for Brick work how many days we need to do curing with water.

Please help me by answering this question and thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Regards,

S Ravuri.

Dear Rao

For brick work curing should be commence within 12 hours in case of cement sand mortar and continue at least minimum for 7 days but in case of rich mortar 1:4 and more curing should be done for 10 days.

For cement plaster curing should be started 24 hours after finishing and kept wet for 7 days . for more information about construction you should visit website gharexpert.com where lot of material are available about construction.
