 Topic: Foundation Clarification
For a small scale Industry, As of now only Ground Floor will constructed, (not many machines) Would be going for the 2nd floor in future. Soil type is CLAY, but not loose. Planning with 9"x9" inch pillars with 16 mm 6 rods. Would like to know whether the inner circle four pillars can be converted to 15"x 15" with 16 mm 6 rods to take the load. Can we have the combination of different size of pillars in construction? Can we reduce the corner pillars steel rods from 6 to 4 as the load is less on corners. In the ground level, one plinth and at 7th feet of wall a lintel is planned. Wall would be with chamber bricks. Can you please suggest whether the attached plan will work? Looking forward for your suggestion.

Dear Sir,
         There were some corrections to my previous question. Planning to construct with 12"x9" inch pillar with 6 iron 12 mm rods. Space between each pillar would be 11' to 12'. 5 feet digging for pillar where as 7' of pillar(3' sand filling above the ground level)will be under the ground level. There is no wall in the central Hall and its space is 960 sqft(40'x24'). There will be two beams with 24 feet. I would like to know whether I can construct with 3 floors with this foundation. Please have a look on the attached site plan and give me your valuable suggestion.

Dear Sir, Kindly go through the following points...1.Prepare the planning according to present and future use of building..2 Final plans of all floors ..3.Get it designed Structurally by Structural Engineer..4.Go for construction in part according to your budget and  requirements..  hope this will solve your quarry.
