Laying conduit for electric wiring through RCC roof slab

 Topic: Laying conduit for electric wiring through RCC roof slab
For house electric wiring, some people advise to lay the pvc conduits for electric wiring through rcc roof slab as far as possible since cutting grooves in walls for running conduits will weaken the wall, but others advise to lay maximum conduits through wall reducing conduit work through rcc roof  since laying conduits will weaken roof rcc slab. 
So, please advise which method is better?

            You lay conduit through roof and wall as per requirement, do not worry have a little effect on strength.
