Lintel band( Above door openings)

 Topic: Lintel band( Above door openings)
Hello sir,

Do I need lintel band all around the building if i m using column and beam structure or lintel just above door or windows openings is sufficient?
Lintel having 2 rods and 3-4 inch thick.

Secondly, is second class brick is called "Darra"?

           It is better to give a RCC bend at door level and keep 4 nos 12mm MS Steel bars with 6mm rings @ 6'' c/c with 6'' height or thickness.

Did you mean just above door level or all around buildiing above door level?

and my second question is above is still pending sir, your decades of experience will help us to have safe and economical house

         Lay lintel all round the building. For earth quack safety there may be 3 lintel all round the building  1st at plinth level  2nd is at door level and 3rd is at roof level. 
  Every area has own local language use First class bricks in construction.
