What Should be the size of pillar for the distance of 14 feet for two floor house?
As per planner he suggest that for each 10 feet a pillar of size 9x9" is required, my requirement is for 14' waht should be the size?

Dear sureshdy

         Please tell weather you are constructing brick pillar or RCC column/ pillar..

It is a RCC column on one and on other end its stone wall of 1 feet see attachment

              The RCC column should be 12''x 18' with MS tor steel bars 6nos 16mm dia. If it is impossible than use the size 9''x9'' but the MS steel bars should be 6 nos 20 mm dia and cement concrete should be in the ratio of 1:1.5:3 .
